Real well designed rooms. The room where I stayed was small but comfortable, the only aspect that I didn't like was the fact that the toilet had no shelves to put our stuff. Although I was staying with friends, I believe is perfect for a romantic weekend. More

We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of October, and thoroughly enjoyed the visit. Viana is a beautiful, unspoilt town with a wonderfully preserved center, great restaurants, good local beaches, and good walking in the hills behind the city. nicely refurbished, centrally located, hotel in old mansion. had a large room but bit noisy as overlooked road and next to lift. free wifi. filling but unexceptional breakfast except for great fresh squeezed orange juice. doesnt quite live up to the Lonely Planet billing of luxury hotel but good if you get the right room.
