The hotel is in a fantastic location. Views are amazing and rooms are great. Service is a bit aloof and the restaurant is not very welcoming. However, the room and location make up for this and you can always go into town for a meal. More

This was our first experience with Portuguese pousadas. The panoramic setting, high up on a hill overlooking a beautiful church with scenic water views below was magnificent. Behind the hotel was an old Roman/celtic ruin, for an extra special treat. Situated on the top of a hill, the hotel location offers an amazing view over Praia do Cabedelo and Viana´s old town center. Hotel staff does a brilliant job in spoiling their guests.
