We booked a double room with a queen-size bed for a night in Beta Porto Hotel. When we arrived they sent us to a room in the 1st floor. The front desk was simple and the elevator was old but what was the first sign of failure was the 1st floor corridor. It had stains in the floor and was... More

Stayed 2 nights, old hotel with very dated rooms, the hanging panel was hanging, didn't try the pool area/jacuzzi. However the food is good, lunch and breakfast and the staff are friendly. Overall a nice 3* hotel, but most certainly not a 4* as they claim. More

I stayed here from 23rd to 27th May 2009 and it felt like an endurance test staying here! The air conditioning didn't work, the shower was broken, the room was dirty even after room cleans each day and the staff were very unhelpful. I normally stay in hostels when travelling but I decided to 'treat myself' to a 4star hotel..... More

Stayed here for two nights in April to watch footy at Porto stadium. Good price all things considered and an ideal place if you just want somewhere reasonable to sleep. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Pool is scruffy and dated but just fine, you need to have sandals to go to pool otherwise you have to wear plastic foot... More

If you are expecting this hotel to be up to the 4* standard it is advertised as, you will be very disappointed. It is more like a 2*. Negatives: Very dated furnishings and the whole hotel (apart from the reception area) is in need of modernisation. Stairwell areas are really grim - plaster off the walls and ugly fire doors... More

This place was pretty scruffy, very old inside, the "health club" was a hot crowded mini-pool which was very out of date. The car park across the street for the Hotel was so potholed we bottomed out the car driving in and out, plus were bombarded by beggars. The area is a 45 minute walk to down town through some... We booked the Hotel through D-Reizen in Amersfoort and stayed from 15/05/2007 till 19/05/2007 People in the Hotel are indeed very friendly and apologetic and when you speak the language then that surely helps. The Hotel room was noisy at night by street traffic and some other visitors had to talk loudly at night. In the evening the room was... More

I’ve stayed 5 nights at this hotel, since my house was being rebuilt. This hotel is not brand new and, at the first instance, you might become sad for your choice; since carpets are old and furnisher is obsolete. Even the bar has an old furnisher. I was thinking on voting with the value 3. But, then I’ve reminded that... More
