Excellent staff...and this includes all staff. Feels really good when you are surrounded by a team that is there to help you with whatever you might need. Breakfast is great. Rooms are quiet, altough the windows may need some repair (I hear some of noise from the outside)...but the room is so cosy, so well light and detailed that it... More

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Tiara Park for a business sales conference. Our company chose Porto primarily because of its proximity to a local manufacturer in Braga and because of the overall "value" associated with the hotel and the historic yet modern city. We typically choose contemporary hotels but decided that based on the many positive... More

Like many buildings in Portugal, it doesn't look that promising from outside, but inside everything was elegant and tasteful, whether in common areas or our guest room. If you don't have to have sea or city views, the location is possibly a good compromise. The biggest minus was the lack of free or truly affordable parking. Of course, one could... More

Annual trip for 8 ageing lads was to Porto this year. Interesting place - very hilly, run down in places but picturesque. River area was very nice with magnificent views of the bridges (suggest you walk over the main one - stunning scenery - cable car the other side which takes you down to the river - E5) and some... The hotel is located on a main street of Porto (Avenida da Boavista). The bellman took our bags as soon as we arrived. We checked in quickly and the front desk staff were friendly and efficient. I never saw a long line-up at the hotel reception. The lobby is tastefully decorated and small but you can meet friends or clients... More

This was the best of the hotels we stayed in during a recent tour through Spain and Portugal. I would rate this a high quaiity five star hotel with modern decor, furniture and TV/audio conveniences, including free wi-fi access. The one downside is that the hotel is not near the local sights, although there is a supermarket a few blocks... More

Tiara Park is a 5 * hotel, up to very high international standards, in the centre of Oporto. The quality is 5*, some costs are inflated - parking is 19 € per day, but it is easy to park for free within a short walk. Excellent cozy rooms, excellent first class 5* breakfast. Tasteful decoration, very comfortable stay. Excellent staff.... More

Good hotel but a little out of the city. Supermarket just over the road and a lovely park about a kilometres walk. Also an interesting arts school or gallery nearby. Rooms were modern and all room facilities were firstb rate. Breakfast was good as was the buffet dinner. More
