Hotel is dated, rooms are small espaecially our room ( 901) bad mattress, dated carpets, bad toilet / bath. Breakfast is ok,bar on the 17th floor has great view. Location is ok just 2 blocks from the shops and caffes. The reception staff needs training on how to handle their clients. Just opposite there is a good caffe that offers the best... more

I have stayed in Porto on a number of occasions. This was my first time at this hotel. I stayed here as friends like it. I knew where it was and would agree there are better choices for access the entertainment and tourist areas. this is more a business/residential area but still in town. As stated elsewhere Trinidade metro nearby.... more

Nice quiet hotel, restaurant nice but was very quiet in evenings. A bit out of town and is a typical 60's hotel, with a 60's concrete car park facing it, which was a bit offputting when looking out of bedroom window. A panoramic bar on 17th floor of hotel, but again was very quiet in evenings, but view from window... more

When you first enter the hotel the foyer appears to be small and our first impressions were not bad but not great. We stayed for two nights and at the end of our visit the hotel had grown on us. The staff were friendly and dealt with all of our requests in a professional manner. We arrived early and they... more

View from the bar is great. Rooms and general decor need updating...new carpet is DEFNATELY needed. Breakfasts are not good. Location is... more

Well situated hotel, 20 minutes walk downhill to the River. On the way back a taxi costs 4/5 Euro. We had a good size room and the bathroom was well appointed. The bed was a small double and VERY hard. Extra pillows provided and the air conditioning was very efficient. Breakfast was reasonable in terms of content, though tinned fruit... more

My husband and I spent 2 nights here in May, and found the hotel to be great overall, but definitely not a 4 star hotel in the usual way of thinking. We walked in off the street and were given a great room for 68 euro, which we thought was great value. That night though the reason for the discount... more

We stayed for two nights and loved the quiet. We enjoy fresh air and could leave the ample window open and still sleep. As others have noted, this hotel is not in the center of tourist activity, nor would I wander around at night but it is close enough to the Ribeiro and Metro lines to be adequately located. Our... more
