It is a clean, cheap hotel in the center of Porto in the pedestrian market place near to metro station. Great value for money. The oweners are very nice people. One problem is that sometimes there is a smell of cigarettes in the corridors.

The hotel has a great location in the center of Porto. On the otherside, it is quite inconvenient that the doors to the bathroom are not real doors, but just sliding doors, which you cannot close. Otherwise the room is quite small and there is no breakfast, but it is great for the price that you pay.

Arriving at night, the first impression might be that of a cheap and decadent hotel in line with the architectual style of Oporto, but once we where assigned two apartments in the building opposite the frontdesk, the opinion change completely. It was clean and - apart from a very creaky bed - acceptable. But the stink from the drain in the toilet eventually drove us out. It wasn't that the...

The good bits - staff were friendly, the room was spotlessly clean, the bed was very comfortable, the balcony overlooked a quiet courtyard and when I asked for a hairdryer it wasnt a problem. It was close to a metro station.
The not so good bits - no door, not even a curtain on the ensuite bathroom door nor was...
