The hotel is in a fantastic location overlooking Funchal, though a bus ride to get there. However buses are regular and reliable. The room was comfortable and clean with tasteful furnishings. This hotel is on the edge of Funchal (or rather its western suburb Sao Goncalo) so is not ideal if you want to be in the centre of Funchal but it does not take that long to drive into the centre and the environment is much nicer than around many of the hotels in the centre. It is high up... More

Just back from a two week stay. Had a superior room with a fabulous view of the harbour and Funchal. We were able to watch the cruise ships coming in and out.
