We spent a week in Madeira in the middle of June and stayed in this hotel. It was clean, the rooms were spacy and the food - we had halfboard - simply outstanding. This hotel is really just an apartment block. The reception desk is only manned periodically. The Musa d'Ajuda is on the corner of two busy roads and is extremely noisy from all the traffic until the early hours of the morning. I am partialy disabled and found facitlities and staff excellent they couldnt do enough to help. Food excellent great variety and plenty.Rooms large and airy and very clean. The only fault I found was entertainment repetative, but good standard. Many facilities within easy reach of the Hotel. Cant wait to return. more

Good value Hotel. Clean and tidy and helpful staff. About 45 minutes walk from Funchal centre in the new tourist area. Hotel has free courtesy bus to main areas.
