Casa Miradouro is one of those special places you always hope you'll find but rarely do. The young women who work there, Joy and Eza (not sure how to spell) are both friendly, helpful, sweet and efficient. We were given a map with very thorough instructions of how to get where we wanted to go and which bus to catch... More

Casa Miradouro exceeded our expectations on so many levels, so much so, it’s hard to begin this review. Expect to feel “lost” upon finding it as it sits on a winding residential street and behind a gate. You will be greeted by someone very friendly; everyone we met during our quick stay could not have been nicer. The rooms are... More

We booked here last minute for one night. We wished we could have stayed here longer. Sintra was beautiful and Casa Miradouro was the perfect place to relax. The place is tastefully decorated and the service was exceptional. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. The best parts, however, were the views and the serene setting. A little bottle of wine,... Would have given this 4 stars except for the shower drainage problem that practically created a flood in our bedroom (judging from the water marks on the floor, other guests have encountered the same problem), which meant we couldn't take a proper shower. (The hotel flyer warns guests that they will be responsible for any damage to the property caused... More

A beautiful home with large and tastefully decorated rooms. The service was exceptional, breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the chilled white port on arrival was very welcome. - The house is close to the old town centre - as long as you can manage the walk up hill! - yet very quiet and peaceful. We would like to return... More

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Miradouro. Our room was lovely, with a large bathroom (bathtubs are great for tired travellers!), and a great view. Breakfast was good. We were worried when the manager was not there to call us a taxi to the train station as she had promised - but then she arrived and drove us herself! This... More

Sintra is an amazing place to visit - I would suggest staying here for a couple of nights as opposed to the common practice of making it just a day trip from Lisbon. If you take my advice to spend 2 or 3 nights, then please take my advice and stay at Casa Miradouro. It is an absolutely gorgeous house... More

My husband and I had such a wonderful time staying here. The room was magnificent, looking out to all the lovely sites that Sintra has to offer. The breakfast were awesome and filling allowing you the energy you will need to take on this amazing town. Yes you do have to walk up a steep hill, but my husband and... More
