We stayed for two nights in Casa Teresinha. The property is conveniently located to see the great old town of Obidos, just a short walk uphill. The casa is plenty large for two with a separate kitchen/living area. The bedroom was clean and pleasant with windows opening onto the neighbors property. We had expected to have the kitchen a bit... Casa d'Obidos is a beautiful country manor, functioning as a guest house bed and breakfast, conveniently located in the beautiful fields at the foot of the hill on which sits the amazingly well-preserved medieval town of Obidos, Portugal. If you are on your way to Lisbon by car, or can arrange an overnight trip from Lisbon to Obidos, I thoroughly... More

We stayed in one of the selfcatering cottages of Casa d'Obidos, Casa Christina. Casa d'Obidos is really an unique place. The manor house and the cottage are furnished with beautiful old things. This creates a very personal and cozy atmosphere which makes you feel welcome right away. The swimmingpool was great for the kids. The location is fine. There is... More

The best B&B we have been staying during our trip in Portugal. The house is wonderful, situated in the country side just in front of Obidos castel and Marianna, the manager, take care of any minimal detail to make you feel at home. Wonderful context !! More

WARNING: DON'T GO THERE IN WINTER! Trusting the revisions read on TripAdvisor and the description found in Frommer's guide, we have booked a night in Casa Matilda (the 4 people apartment located in the cottage). Although at first glance what we read could have matched the place, we have been soon disappointed by the dark sides: at 16degC (heating was... More

Our room looked out across the fields to the castle. It was huge and well lit. Yes the beds are hard but we had hard beds all over Portugal. It's a pretty old house, and the breakfast room is very formal and lovely, with a huge and varied continental (no eggs or hot foods) breakfast. When we arrived it was... More

Ok, so the title is a bit of an oxymoron, but where else can you stay on a working farm with views and amenities like these? We were fortunate to have the former wine press/cellar as our apartment with a full kitchen, cozy fireplace, elevated sleeping area (on top of the old wine press) and a loft. The staff was... More

We enjoyed Casa d' Obidos. The hotel is located close to Obidos with nice restaurants close by. The rooms were nicely decorated and the bathrooms were large. Breakfast was good and we were given Port and muffins upon our arrival. Although it was too cool to swim, we were able to relax by the pool. The staff was very nice. More
