The location is great, allowing you just to go walking to almost every nice place in town. The staff is really helping. They booked a fado dinner for us and later we learned the place was the one to go to in Lisbon to listne to fadistas. Also, the upper deck terrace is perfect. Looking forward to go back!

Besides the incredible location and stunning view, Bairro Alto Hotel employs excellent, friendly, knowledgeable, and gracious staff that go the extra mile to ensure you're happy. We had a mansard room...a little tight, but adequate nonetheless. The roof top bar is a thrill with beautiful sweeping views. I highly recommend this hotel if you value great service.

First, the location is at the center of the old-town, second the service is first-class and personalized, and last but not least the view from the terrace is breath-taking. The staff is friendly without being obsequious, and they are well-trained. Also, the price is reasonable for what it is.

Apart from all the elements of a proper boutique hotel, the bario alto also has a fantastic concierge. They really helped us get the best expeience during our short 36hr trip to lisbon. And not to forget, this is also the best place in lisbon for a cheeky sundowner. However, do try and get a city facing room.
