Taxi ride from airport is 10 minutes and ten Euros including the tip. A 'value' business persons hotel but pretty good and I thought the value for money was good and the staff were helpfull. Easy walk to the Oceanarium which is a MUST SEE! More

Still at the hotel for one more night :-( Pros: very close to the airport, less than 15 min and less than ERU10 with taxi; close to the ocean, train station, nice view; nice modern room layout with all wooden floors. The room is relatively small, but OK in size, and bathroom is decent in size. Cons: - internet access... More

If you have to stay here demand a room at the front. There is a 6 track railway at the back which runs all night. I was here for 3 nights and asked to be moved, not many smiles and ended up in a room that only can be described as scruffy. They also have no wireless access in the... More

We spent 2 nights here enroute to the Algarve. Although located in the finance district it is close to good shopping/rail station therefore restaurants are accessible. It is located next to the Expos 98 location which is wonderful, with lots of places to walk and explore. We enjoyed the hotel, as it was friendly, clean and bed was good. The... More

The hotel is quite close to the airport, about a 6€ to 8€ taxi ride, so not bad. On arrival the reception is quite large, but if there are more than 2 people checking in it may take some time. The hotel is a quite moden design, if not just a year or two out of date, but is nice.... More

Nothing very special and looking a little bit tired. Don't expect a real four star hotel, but No doubt is in terms of location and price one of the cheap best options in Lisbon. More

It seems that there are 5* hotels that prefer to be listed as 4* in order not to loose business customers. That was valid for my previous trip to Lisbon and Mariott hotel. VIP Arts is average even for a 3* hotel and I feel that the actual 4* rating is misleading in order to attract customers hoping for high... More

Stayed at the VIP Arts in October 2011 on a business visit. The hotel is a 5 to 10minute walk from the train station, vasco da gama shopping mall, riverfront and aquarium. The hotel rooms were very clean but my room was a little tired, with some scuff marks on the walls and floors. The whole hotel actually looks a... More

Stayed here in Oct on a visit. While the hotel is close to train station, mall and riverfront dining- the value for money is just OK. Our room was a little tired, with scuff marks on the walls and floors. The whole hotel actually looks tired. The art deco noveau furniture looks plasticky and tacky. There are probably much better...
