The hotel has excellent modern facilities in the oldest part of Lisbon. We had a superior room with a terrace which gave you a view of the old town. We spent 4 nights here in early August. Would agree with the positive reviews re the view - and the warnings about the steep narrow cobbled streets nearby. Great for the price. Location is hilly and in the middle of the Alfama district. Not recommended if you intend to drive to and from the hotel on a daily basis. Alfama is a nightmare in which to navigate a car. Staff was courteous and professional. 10 Euro taxi ride to the airport. more

This hotel certainly lived up to the good reviews. The staff are very helpful and the rooms are very clean as is the hotel in general.
