This is a very nice boutique hotel, charming, small, well decorated and with spacious rooms. Breakfast is simple yet the quality is superb. If you like boutique hotels, you will enjoy the Palacio Ramalhete. However, note that depending what room you stay in, there are lots of stairs and no elevator. It is not easy to lug your suitcase up.... More

Beautifully renovated, this hotel lives and breathes history - 19th century tiles decorating the walls of our room, antique furniture and original wooden floors made us feel like we were taken back to the times one only reads in books and sees in the movies. Yet all the bathroom fixtures were modern, air conditioner was heating the room well and... More

Beautiful place, recently opened up. warm and friendly staff, beautiful house, we were offered a suite instead of the room we had booked. The Palacio offered a swimming pool, nice gardens at the back, many lectures room, well decorated and furnisghed. An authentic setting wich brings a special atmosphere to the stay. Well located between Belem and Baixa, close to... More

From the outside there is no sign of what lies behind the unmarked green door of this restored palace, Yet it is worth the effort of finding this hidden gem. Recently refurbished, this hotel offers beautifully decorated rooms and suites, airy reception rooms and a breakfast room and bar where gourmet breakfasts are served each morning. From our spacious suite,... More

This hotel was relatively unassuming, and it was hard to find, but this actually worked to their benefit. The staff are all very nice and friendly, willing to help in whatever way they can. The rooms are very nice, and by having a hotel in an older house it adds a certain charm. By way of location, this is a... More

It was our first time in Lisbon and we were really amazed from the city. Lisboa is a small diamant in Europe, charming city and you feel like time stopped there :-) We stayed in the Hotel Palacio Ramalhete. The house was really a positive surprise for us. From outside we were first a bit disappointed, it does not look... More
