Excellent location, Right near all the attractions. Airport Bus drops you off within 5 min walk from the hotel. Subway stations very close by in 2 different lines (red and green I think). The Tivoli is a wonderful hotel. (not a hip hotel vibe... for that go down the street to the Sofitel). The hotel is definitely old world in terms of decoration but the rooms are recently furnished. Great location, midway down the Avenida da Liberdade and one block from the Metro. We were upgraded on arrival to one of the newly refurbished rooms on the upper floors - brilliant views of the castle and the Avenida, and very quiet - and the Brasserie Flo for breakfast (and even lunch) was a delight.
