The location is great. But the hotel itself does not meet the 5 stars Sofitel rating. We stayed twice at the Sofitel Lisbon in the last month. It is a first class property, the staff are well trained to deliver top service. Rooms are well furnished, a little dark for our liking but that is of course very subjective. Location is good, close to public transport and a pleasant walk to the centre of the city.... More

We stayed in this hotel during our first time to Lisbon. The hotel staff were helpful and always courteous. The rooms were clean and really comfortable. I loved my stay at the Sofitel Lisbon Liberdade. The staff always greeted you with a smile! Everyone was super sweet and kind. The hotel is in the perfect location within the city. It was truly a perfect vacation!

Five nights. Beautifully appointed room with modern amenities, recent without much wear and tear, great location, pleasant staff and a good price. Would not hesitate to go back. This is what a modern 5 star hotel should be IMHO.

Only thing that may disappoint you - strange doors to the bath/toilet. They're like the doors to wardrobe so if one is inside the other in the room can hear every drop and wisper.
