Rome is very clean and the staff very helpful. You cannot have a better location. Our room was on the main floor with reception and breakfast and noise started at 6am -- recommend a floor higher. more

The Residencial Roma is basic but clean and best of all ideally located just a couple of minutes walk from the Baixa district where there are plenty of bars, restaurants, and other distractions. Residencial Roma is in a great location in Lisbon. Took bus #44 from airport to the Restauradores Sqare. There is a great tourist info center there where you can get city maps and other info. Not really charming, bad if you stay by stairs because you can hear everything, including the stomping of heavy bags on wheels trying to make it up the two flights to the reception desk.
