If you're planning to stay in Lisbon - this is where it's at! You can meet so many people from around the world. The staff are very hospitable, willing to help and speak English. I had the pleasure of meeting Rui - kind, beautiful and can answer all your questions; Nadia - wonderful personality, fun and nice. The place is... More

As my first choice to stay I can really recommend Alfama Patio Hostel as a great place to stay, with easy access to the 28e Electrico tram system and just a 2min walk away from Porto do Sol it's a great starter with lovely staff that are always there to accommodate you. Read up on the property and you'll find... More

This is hostel is really everything I was looking for to have a great time. Loved the company and the service. The lovely Isabella will always answer you with the nicest smile! Also, if you have the chance, take the Sintra tour for 25€. It's way worth the money and Carlos, the tour guide, is one of the mist passionate... More

I can only say good things about this hostel. The staff welcome you with open arms, the rooms are excellent and the location is perfect. Tours, pub crawls, BBQs, Sunday movies, anything you need, they provide and more. Personally, I have to recommend the pub crawl with the oh-so-lovely Bobby. You can´t help but have a fantastical time with this... More

In a new country where you don't know anyone and don't speak the language, it's wonderful to find a place where you feel perfectly comfortable, even surrounded by strangers. Traveling with four other students studying abroad and on a tight budget, we'd all had our fill of feeling uncomfortable, but the moment we opened the green gate leading into the... More

Jaoa is possibly the best landlord in the world. This place is a home away from home, for travelers, students, and anybody looking for a bed. Marissa, the cook, is perhaps my favorite person on Earth. She makes 3 course meals from fresh, local ingredients for 8 Euros. Jaoa is very environmentally conscious, as shown by the compost heap and... More

My two stays at this hostel in Lisbon, Portugal was incredible. The staff is friendly, sociable, knowledgeable, & very helpful. They have theme nights every night of the week, so you will never be bored or lacking for something to do if you want. They were happy to accommodate my extra luggage when I wanted to take a side trip... More

This hostel was the first and the last place where I spent time for rest and sleep in my first visit of Lisbon, Portugal. I literally knew nothing about this place before I got here because I came here with a team and one of us booked this place for the team. However, the surroundings, location, rooms, and facilities were... More

beautiful interior and spotless cleanliness, the maintenance here is constant at your convenience and for your comfort. Obviously whoever designed the furniture had an artistic eye as well as a lively spirit. the building itself is efficient and uses eco friendly products. The atmosphere here is always fresh and "home-y." Breakfast is included at 8 and the espresso machine is... More
