Fabulous hotel, old world charm blended charmingly with first class facilities and friendly staff. What struck me was the balance : not too plush, not too glitzy, service not over enthusiastic but highest standards of quality and hospitality. Serene is another word that comes to mind, would jump at the opportunity to revisit.

This is a proper old style, luxury hotel with loads of interesting history, much of which is illustrated by photographs in the public areas. It is situated close to the sea, Casino and the Congress Centre.
