On arrival the Oitavos looks more like a gleaming high tech business building than a hotel, but do not be put off. Once inside the first thing that strikes you is how much space there is. The public areas, the pool, corridors and rooms are all huge. But they seem minimalist and a little clinical. Once you get used to... More

The architecture of the oitavos is very modern, you will like it or dislike it. The rooms are exceptionaly large 65m2, with seperate shower and seperate toilet (a special toilet with all amenities as wet shower and drying ..). We were on the third floor with beautifull views on the golf course and sea. Nice balcon with padded sofa. The... More

On a recent trip to Portugal we were surprised to trip onto this Hotel By accident. A very imposing Building with glass to one side giving it an airy feel and great views out to sea. A huge terrace to enjoy the sun and a drink before lunch or dinner. Very friendly service from non native staff who have obviously... More

We loved staying at this hotel. The service was friendly and attentive, but not in your face. The hotel itself is quite modern, decorated with blues and beiges echoing the sea and sand of the dunes it is built on. We had a room with a large balcony overlooking the sea and golf course. The rooms are large and have... More

We stayed at the oitivas for 3 nights in May. We were looking for a short break out of London where we could just relax and have some down time. This hotel was perfect! Staff were extremely helpful, very attentive but not overly to a point where it may annoy you. Rooms were exceptionally clean and also very spacious. We... More

This hotel was plonked in the middle of nowhere (because it's a 1km walk from the main road to get to the actual property). With that said, it's perfect if you want peace and quiet. Rooms are best described as minimalist chic: Clean lines, no frills, open plan elegance. We went in late Spring so the bare, uncarpeted floor was... More

The location of Cascais is magnificent already itself, but this wonderful hotel adds to the drama. modernly designed, luxury hotel was a great way to spend a windy, cloudy business trip. rooms were special enough to accommodate 2 people with lots of luggage. liked the place a lot. not cheap, but the surroundings, accommodation and beautiful spa&gym are worth. We stayed at the Oitavos for a long weekend to discover the beautiful area of the Lisbon coast. The Oitavos is a wonderful property which offers everything a sophisticated traveller is looking for. The rooms are huge and offer a stunning view over the ocean and dunes or golf course. The breakfast buffet with the wide choice of fresh fruits... More

The Oitavos Hotel, for it's luxury, for it's location, (accessibility to Golf & Sea) and unique characteristics make it the Top place to recommend in Cascais. I am Portuguese, I live 10 minutes away from Cascais and still thought it was worth trying out the hotel for a night (as a local, this is not something I generally do!!) The... More
