Hotel was difficult to find, was not on the beach as stated by booking.com. Hotel has definately seen better days. On approaching hotel one had the immediate feeling they had made a mistake! So called football field had grass almost as high as the goals!Swimming pool was surrounded by squashed roaches and it seemed rubbish was hidden behind bushes rather than being removed. All parts of the hotel that were metal were rusting.Reception smelt of sweat and bleach and had piped music from the 60s. Furniture in lobby was dogeared, and most decour was dated. Restaurant had a large aquarium which was full of water. only living thing in the water was the green algae!The hotel had zero atmosphere and most staff did not speak any English when we booked in. Hotel was empty apart from a few elderly portuguese guests. computers offered by hotel were very old and even their login codes didnt work.
