We have stayed at this beautiful Quinta for 3 years in a row and are planning our 4th stay this November. The lovely rooms, the beautiful gardens and the wonderful staff make it a special place that we feel compelled to return to. It is a bit of a jaunt to Angra but the taxi ride is reasonable and driver we use, Antonio, is always available on short notice. We also used Antonio on all of our tours of the island. He knows all the best restaurants and when they are open. The waffles made by Bernardina are fantastic and Esmeralda has been a great help with flight confirmations etc. Only breakfast is served but there are excellant restaurants in Angra. All in all, a special place! more
