This feels very much like a business hotel. Reception staff are pleasant and rooms are comfortable. Breakfast was a horrendous mess (of food and people). No organisation and it was the ubiquitous BUFFET! The quality of food was dreadful. Tinned fruits, JELLY (!) bad coffee, plastic cheese. It was horrible. Great stylish hotel with excellent staff and service. The only slight negative is that the city centre is a bit of a walk (half an hour) but with the mild Azorean weather this isn't too much of a hardship! And the indoor swimming pool was shut from 1pm on Sunday which was disappointing. But I would go back here again. more
