We stayed here in July 2009 and we had a brilliant time. We hired our apartment via Owners Direct and it was beautiful with two large balconies. We found the Algarve very windy especially at night but apart from that we really liked it. If you stay here then you definitely need a car as the nearest beaches and shops... more
We stayed in a very clean and well furnished first floor privately owned apartment. Our balcony overlooked the 16th hole and had distant seaviews. My husband and son [14] played golf several times which cost 95euros for the two with a buggy.My daughter had a tennis lesson and they played a couple of times. We have recently returned from a 10 night stay at the Rosa Emilia Villa on the Boavista Golf resort. The villa was superbly equipped, beautifully clean and well kept. All the villas and apartments are privatley owned, but rented out to potential tourists. All accomodation looks over some aspect of the golf complex whether it be the 1st tee, to the 18th green to the practice greens, very much catered for the golfer.
