I cannot rate Canavial apartments enough. If you're looking for a holiday away from the crowds where you can do your own thing, then this is ideal! being that there is only a few appartments it wasn't uncommon to have the pool area to yourself which allows for very peaceful sunbathing ... it is a lovely secluded pool area in a very quiet area, there is a building site next door (more appartments) but in our weeks stay there was little/NO noise.. main construction already done.. the... more

Canavial II: location - just over a mile walk from centre of Lagos, half of which is uphill as the estate on which it is located is on the cliffs that give the Algarve coves and beaches their charm. we had a great holiday at these appartments which where very clean and roomy catering for simple cooking.there was no reception which wasnt a problem beacause maids takes care of all your needs and with a smile.superb beaches loveley sightings of grottos on a small boat trip. We have recently returned from Canavial apartments. The place is situated on the outskirts of lagos in a peaceful location. The apartment was clean and tidy with adequate cooking facilities. Do not be put off by the so-so reviews of the Canavial Apartments, we have just returned from there and had a great time! You do feel after the 2 hour plus transfer from the airport that you have been dropped in the middle of nowhere, but the beach with two restaurants is less than 10 minutes walk one way... more
