This hotel was situated right near the main square and only minutes walk from Menin Gate. Very handy for Battlefield Tours and seeing the restored city of Ieper. You can walk to this hotel from the railway station, but the city bus drops you off close by - a cost of EUR0.5 is well spent if you have luggage.

Very nice hotel, very central, car parking was next to the hotel - free if you got there in time, rooms spacious, the boulangerie over the road was good for a cheap breakfast! Only downside there was only enough tea/coffee for 2 cups each would have been nice to have more!

We stayed at the Novotel as a base for a 4 day walking tour of the Ypres Salient. It is very well located. It is clean and the rooms are well appointed and comfortable. The staff are very helpful and friendly. the breakfast is good. It is a great base and really good value.

This hotel is in the very centre of Ieper, it is near all the bars, restaurants and 1 min from the last post ceremony. The breakfast was fine and it has a large underground car park (payable). it is a few minutes drive from the bunkers at Hill 60 and other great war monuments.

Excellent position for the Menim Gate & Ypres square for shopping Room was large enough only complaint would be booking a twin bedded room & the 2nd bed is a couch made up for the bed.Food good,There is a very good patisserie near the hotel with super cakes !!!
