First of all, if your staying in Brugge you should expect to have an occassional smell of sewer no matter where you stay. Second, remember you get what you pay for. The old couple was very nice, as was the location. But there were mold/septic/plumbing issues-- there was a terrible smell throughout the building. Damp, dank place. Definitely the worst bed and breakfast I've stayed at in Bruges-- sorry to say, not worth 50-60 euros. more
