We stayed at Bariseele over the Easter holiday and had a wonderful, comfortable stay. We arrived the day before Easter and decided to take a taxi from the train station. A short and inexpensive ride later, we pulled up to the B&B in a lovely old neighborhood. Benny was genuinely friendly and helpful right from the start, giving us advice... More

My wife and I stayed here for a long weekend, and were very happy with our choice. We were in the 'Room with a View' where both the bedroom and the bathroom offer lots of space. The bed was comfortable, and there was plenty of hot water. The room had lots of light, and a very comfortable sofa, so it... More

Bariseele has to be one of the nicest Bed and Breakfasts we have ever stayed in. Benny is the star of the place. He gives you a genuinely warm welcome, and gives honest tips about restaurants, chocolatiers, beer cafes, exhibitions and so on. Benny has a warm and engaging personality which really makes you feel at home. The room with... More

A great place to say having all the facilities you could need, including local beers in the fridge at sensible prices. Rooms are large and airy. Benny provides friendly, helpful info and great breakfasts. If you're looking for a place to stay, just outside the city centre, then you won't be disappointed with Bariseele. More

So after a lovely Christmas in Canada my girlfriend and I decided to spend new years eve in Bruges before heading back to the UK. On our route to Bruges our flight was delayed by about 8 hours so by the time we arrived at the hotel in the evening we were exhausted and starving. The owners got us straight... More

Great location on a quiet street, a block from a nice canal and a short, very plesant walk to the main tourist areas. Many nice touches made the room a really comfortable place to stay. Very comfortable bed. Electric water boiler so you can have tea in your room, and the B&B supplies the tea bags, sugar, milk, and cups,... More

Great B&B in nice quiet location but not far from the centre. Benny is a lovely bloke, as everyone else has said - very friendly and chatty and full of useful info for a great stay. Rooms are nice, large and well kitted out. Decent beer in the fridge (at a sensible price) is a real bonus. We will be... More

We stayed at the B&B Bariseele a year ago (December 2010) for our fourth wedding anniversary. Apologies to Benny, the wonderful host and owner of this absolute gem situated near to the canal. On booking the apartment we received an in depth email welcoming us, confirming dates, info on how to get to the B&B by car, train and bus,... More

Thank you very much for Your nice and heartwarming words. As we are Christmas and the end of the year, this is the greatest gift we can get ! This year Bruges did not get the cold and snowy weather as last year... The Christmas atmosphere is still magical and a joy... We wish you and your family a Merry... More

We loved Brugge. Staying at the B&B Bariseele made our visit fantastic. When we arrived, Benny greeted us and provided an overview of the city. He recommended lunch at De Halve Maan (which is now our favorite restaurant in Brugge) and gave us a discount card for museums and other sites in Brugge. Our accommodations included a large Bedroom and... More

The Bariseele is a nice choice in Bruges. It is clean and comfortable. It is a good value for the money. We stayed three nights, but only on the last day was Benny present since he was out of the city for our first two days. (We were looking forward to meeting him since so many people in earlier reviews... More

thank you very much for reviewing us. It is always our pleasure to make sure you have all the help needed, which we tried even in my absence. All the time Paul or myself have been there to welcome you and help you in any kind of way. Most of the B&B's in Bruges only have 1 to 3 rooms,... More
