Positive: Central location, the owners of the house are very friendly, they make you feel so welcome and give you great information about where to eat/drink/see. Bright cheery room. Our room was quite finished, lovely, quiet, and felt like home. The owners were friendly and served a nice Belgian breakfast of breads, charcuterie, cheese, jam, juice, coffee, tea... I felt like I was staying in someone's home. Would definitely return! More

Ghent is a wonderful city! We liked it a lot! The hotel la Ducale is located close to the center (only 5 min walk from the Cathedral). It is not a hotel but a family-run bed and breakfast in an old house in the city center. Rooms are clean and quite comfortable on the 3d floor (so mind the ladder).... More
