The hotel is located somewhat out of the city in the Citadelle area on the top of the hill. The view from the hotel is simply fascinating and the hotel is surrounded by a park, which gradually transgresses into a forest. Unfortunately, this is the only advantage of its location. The property is very nice from the outside and is located in a very imposing location. They advertise themselves as being in partnership with a hotel school but in fact the hotel is the school and as such you get to be looked after by (mostly) unmotivated teenagers. We spent 1 night at the château de Namur. Reservation, check-in,... all went very well. The surroundings are spectacular. BUT then we arrived at our room....
