Well situated in a quiet street in Ixelles, convenient for trams and within walking distance of Matonge and the city centre. Run by a very nice couple who are friendly without being intrusive. Nicely furnished, comfortable beds, good breakfast. I'll definitely stay there again the next time I'm in Brussels. More

I considered Residence Rembrandt to be a real find in a city where accomodation has become quite expensive. Essentially this is not a hotel but a B&B, it is a large house right off Avenue Louise a 5 minute walk from the metro, it's a great location and very cheap, I booked it directly through their website www.hotel-rembrandt.be and my room cost 45 euros a night with shower and basin but no toilet in the room (see pictures)....
