The hotel is fine - ish, clean (enough), comfortable (enough), friendly (enough). It will do. Good points: location - walking distance to the EU buildings and near whatever that nice park is called. The TV (when it worked) was pretty good. It is in a nice area - semi-residential and quite charming. Average points: This is an average hotel. Nothing... more

I go often to Brussels on business, to stay there one or two nights. This is the first time i checked with Chelton Hotel, mainly due to availability of other hotels, and due to the fact that i wanted to be close to Schuman. First the good... breakfast was good. Location is in my opinion also OK. Almost in residential... more

Tired, Tired, Tired The hotel is well located for the EU but is basic by any standards. Probably well finished by '1970' standards, it now shows signs of age. The wardrobe mirror in my room was broken - for how long? The bathroom is very small and badly designed. A smoking room was allocated despite my clear preferences. A basic... more

The whole story started when I was browsing the offers at Booking.com. The offer for "Chelton" looked attractive: it said that there were only 2 rooms left that normally go at 175 USD/night, and, as there were only two rooms left, the price was dropped to a maximum, i.e. to 60 USD/night. The room info page included info about jaccuzzi,... more

I bbooked the Chelton Hotel for my Husband's 30th Birthday. The description mentioned 50 rooms in a nice location therefore I thought it would be a nice queit hotel. I wasn't wrong. We arrived at 10.30pm and the gentleman at Reception said "HI.....Room 34". No menion of breakfast times, whether we had a nice flight, facilities and service available. As... more

I read some good and some very bad reviews of this hotel before deciding to make a reservation anyway. My own experience is rather mixed. The hotel is in need of renovation, but it isn't rundown. The place wasn't very clean; some of the basic furniture is not in working order anymore. Airconditioning was not functioning. Email was not working,... more

The Chelton is a run down narrow street apartment turned into a hotel. At the reception they gave me a key and asked me to go to another apartment next to the hotel! I went there, opened the front door with my key, walked up the narrow stairs with my luggage listening to voices and a barking dog from other... more
