Had a good stay here however only arrived late and left early in the morning. Nice building, friendly staff. Very spacious room. No complaints and fair value for money (although can't compare to other hotel in Rotterdam). More

I stayed here for only one night for a meeting by the end of August. It is a nice boutique hotel in an old shipping office close to the waterfront. The building has been beautifully renovated and a lot of old style remained. My room was large, nicely decorated, clean, good bed and bathroom. I think all rooms are different.... More

Good location for access to Ahoy stadium, large room, comfortable bed, well-functioning air con, and large bathroom made the stay comfortable enough, but at 150€ a night (without breakfast) it was too pricey. There were no comfy chairs in the room, even though there was plenty of room for them, no mini-bar or fridge, no tea/coffee making serice, no room... More

There were some lovely original period architectural touches that set this place apart from others. However, for a supposed four-star hotel, it didn't feel like much more than a two-star in terms of quality. The room was very clean and there were good quality towels, but some lightbulbs were not working in the room and little things that make a... More

Stayed in this hotel because I went to see Muse in Ahoy and din't want a mad dash for the last train. Had to look round to find the hotel but was pleasantly surprised with my room, thought it was rather spacous and very nicely decorated with a nice balcony and very lovely bathroom(incl. Rituals toiletries) The layout was rather... More

This was our second stay at Hotel Grand Philadelphia, and it was again excellent ! We asked same room (20), and we found it in exact same state as 2 years ago: huge, spotless, big bathroom, quiet though overlooking the street (double windows very effective, and airco very silent). Chic decor, king size bed, nice duvet, pillow and mattress, complete... More

Not the most welcoming of hotels with a rather dingy reception area and a most peculiar smell of - well - sewrage, or stale cabbage really! However, the staff were helpful and the room we stayed in on the first floor was excellent (and non-smelly!). It was a modern twin room with duvets, en-suite with bath and shower, and a... More

We have just spent a couple of nights at this lovely hotel. It was our first time to Rotterdam and so took a taxi from the Central Station to the hotel which was about 10 Euros. A better way to travel would have been on the No7 tram, getting off one stop from the southern end, where the hotel is... More

Regularly travel to Rotterdam with work, and have come to really appreciate this hotel. Was a bit put off at first as it doesn't have a restaurant, and sometimes when I head back at night I just want to grab a quick bite to eat. However there are so many good restaurants nearby that this isn't really a problem. All... More

I stayed at the Grand Hotel Philadelphia for four nights in early September and enjoyed my stay. The hotel was booked for me (at my request, after viewing the list of potential lodgings) by the organizers of a meeting, so I don't know the exact rate. The hotel is located near the waterfront, in a neighborhood that was historically apparently... More
