I stayed there with two friends last week end. We had originally booked for 2 nights but ended up only staying one for various reasons. We spend there fortunately only one night. Reception is ok, but thats all positives. Showers and toilette is bad, need clean and reconstruction. Rooms are relatively clean, but in our room somebody was heavily smoking so whole room was really smelling. Even smoke detector have been covered. I have stayed here many times over the years. Rooms are clean, plenty of free parking, staff is nice and 24 hours check in. The showers and toilets are all common and need maintenance, not all of them work and they are often dirty. The price of the room last week was 47 euro, so they keep raising the prices.... more

As we were only staying overnight in Amsterdam, the Formule 1 was a good choice. The room was clean and bed comfortable enough, and the shared toilets and showers seemed to be well maintained, and automatically cleaned regularly.
