Stayed here December 27th to 30th 09. had no booking, just walked and got a good deal. Staff were friendly and helpful, No problems about viewing the room before commiting to the stay (Recommended)Nice canal views and centrally located,close too museums,Vondel park and canal boat trips right across from hotel. The hotel is very well located but too expensive. The service is very bad, our reservation was lost, we got a very bad room, hotel personnel was very rude and charged my credit card double by mistake. It took a long time to get my money back. more

Great location, our room had a queen bed with queen mattress- not two beds pushed together - shower had two heads - like a rain shower - excellent after a long flight! Also the rate was attractive compare to the hotels in Amsterdam that was found on www.lastminutetravel.com. We will defenetly return to this hotel. more

The tram number 5 takes will take you to the hotel from the Centraal Station in Amsterdam. We were greeted warmly by the staff and given a room overlooking the canal across the road.
