This hostel was great! It was quirky with its really steep stairs (which we expected as we had read reviews) and had some friendly staff, it was also bang slap in the Centre, what more could you want?! I would definately recommend this hostel and definately stay here again if I come back over to Amsterdam! Simba also ruled!!! :) More

The staff was very helpful if we needed to find anything within Amsterdam, they knew the best places to go! Right across the street (or alleyway) was a great little cafe, amazing smoke there as well. Great location in Amsterdam. I really enjoyed my stay at this hostel, the staff were friendly. Centrally located, and full of people from all over the world. If you go by car, park your car on park + ride out of center. (6,5 euros per day, including train ticket to center). More

While the location is decent, the noise in and around the hostel was extreme and the staff were rather rude and combative. They did not greet us with any kind of hospitality and were stand-offish towards our room the entire trip. In turn, we moved to Flying Pig which was a much better hostel. More
