I stayed in a 'wagonette' with my cousin in April 2012. It's a fair bit away from the city, but there are a number of tram/bus stops nearby. My only problem was that the amenity block is a bit far away from the wagonettes. Other than that, it was a cheap and enjoyable experience!

We visited during March. It was low season and subsequently lots of building work was going on, but when this is all finished in the summer it should be great, it's based on an island and you can hire kayaks which would be cool. This campsite will be nice once the builders have stopped. At 7 am every morning they start their diggers and it honestly sounds like the are circling you. Nice and cheap place to stay. We stayed in tents qnd it was great. Many young people around. After 10pm everybody were quiet. Clean toilets and showers. People in front desk were helpful when we want to charge our phones. There is also small market with fresh food.

We stopped here for 2 nights while travelling through holland in a camper van, we had bikes so it was a 15 minutes bike ride to the centre, alternatively it would have been a 10 minute walk to the nearest tram stop.
