I stayed in this hotel in July 2011, I pulled up and actually thought we may have been lost, as it looked like we were in some kind of industrial area, unfortunately this was just the location of the boat! The rooms themselves were tiny and bare, with a bathroom equally as tiny and bare. I felt like I was... More

Me and my partner went with another couple to celebrate my 21st birthday, we mainly choose the botel as we were looking for a budget hotel and liked the idea of staying on a boat. yes, it is very basic but you get what you pay for. we spent £150 each for flights and hotel for a 3 day trip... More

This is without doubt the worse place I have ever had the misfortune to stay in !!! It was like stepping aboard a prison ship. The rooms were like something out of a mental asylum. The decor was awful. Bland to the point of no return ! The pitiful bathroom...( if you can actually categorise it as one ) was... More

I picked this hotel as a holiday's package. I thought it would be near the city center, but totally wrong. You need to get a ferry which is free, good point, but you depend on the timetable during your hole trip. It takes easily 30 min to get near the center and it is impossible to go back to the... More

Perhaps the nearest hotel to Amsterdam Centraal, where trains from airport arrive. It was very romantic to live on a boat and to feed seagulls in the morning. The room was a bit small but clean. We stayed here in October and it was very cold in the city - but in the hotel there was not cold at all.... More

Stayed on the Botel for only one night, which was fine for a fly by over night. However, the room stunk of cigarettes. I literally had to breath through my mouth until I fell asleep and I'm truly not fussy and make the best out of any situation. Which I did at the Botel, so it wasn't terrible. The people... More

The Botel is ok although the breakfast is not very good. You should not however expect the rooms or the experience to be in any way romantic. Also the botel is a bit outside of city centre which was ok for us but you should take it into consideration before booking. Although we were not really dissatisfied with anything in... More

We have stopped here several times and realise we need to take pillows as beds not great for comfort! However, it is clean and staff friendly. Was worried when it moved a few years ago to where it is now from outside station, but ferry trip not too bad. I do think you get what you pay for but we... More

£6 for 1 hour wifi- £1 10 mins 8 ball expensive bar, poor location and definitely not value for money. This is my first review and I felt compelled to steer people away if possible, If I can save just one person visiting this it has been worth the time More

Definitely a novelty stay, but why not. It has a modest price, small but workable rooms, and terrific views. Out our window, you could spot a WWII vintage submarine and a ferry to the Amsterdam downtown not far from the main train station. We experienced little or not movement but we were at the first floor level near the center... More
