Lovely welcome, lovely room, great coffee machine in room and foyer. Great service, nothing was too much trouble for the staff, wether it be directions, or extra milk and sugar. Last night《frid b4 long weekend) was noisy due to city partygoers, but hey, its amsterdam. Thanx girls.

I can't review the standard room and property, because I got upgraded to the "apartment" next door. This is literally an apartment, with two small beds but a nice living room up a rather deathly and very dutch set of stairs. I stayed at the Albus for a short break, I found the Staff very friendly and genuine, I was offered a free upgrade as I had booked via trip advisor, the accomodation was excellent with tasteful decor, I had a wonderful stay there and would recommend the Albus,

Brilliant hotel. Beautiful entrance, lounge, eating and drinking areas. Breakfast and meals were perfect. Complimentary coffee and fresh pastries every morning. All staff very friendly and helpful. Such a romantic place and city, so much my partner proposed at the diamond factory. woooohoooo.

The albus, was a great place to base our day from, accessible for all our needs transportation wise, all the attractions close by, with great fresh breakfast, and my teenage son thought it was 'cool' ! Would recommend for modern people.
