I stayd at Heemskerk Suites with a friend, we had really a wonderful stay! Norman Heemskerk the owner and Sonia gave us a really warm welcome, they have been so helpful giving us many advice how to discover this amazing town! In the apartment there is everything like a luxury hotel room, the cleaning was perfect and the little details... More

Perfect stay - we were there for 11 days over Christmas and New Year. Very quiet location for staying in Amsterdam, near the Museum Plein and a short stroll from the historic centre. Great view on the internal garden and the concert hall dome. Very comfortable apartment (ours was" sky"), fully equipped, cosy atmosphere, pleasant and rich of details. A... More

NHEEMSKERK SUITES is one hotel you won't want to miss in Amsterdam. As I witnessed the transformation from Hotel Heemskerk to these luxury suites, I couldn’t believe this precious site could be lifted to higher heights. While nestled in the beauty, timelessness and excitement of historic Amsterdam, it has been renovated to modern times. The rooms are TOTALLY designed for... More

Well placed, near museums. Cozy, extremely nice staff, absolutely "non-business" - and that is a quality for us. The room with a jacuzzi is just great. When we decide to go back to Amsterdam, this is the place we will stay at - again. More

Small cosy hotel in a good location 10-15 minutes walk to key attractions. We stayed here a year ago but I still remember the delightful staff. Norman and his gorgeous wife were lovely and helpful, including to go out of their way to make my Mum - who was staying at another hotel -feel comfortable when she dropped in to... More

Small hotel with a great location, right behind the concert hall in Museumplein, quiet street, very close to Van Gogh and Rijksmuseum. Our room was very small, as are so many European hotel rooms, but had all the amenities needed to be comfortable. Staff was very helpful. Several good ethnic restaurants are within a 10-15 minute walk, however there's not... More

The Heemskerk is a small but comfortable hotel near the main museums in Amsterdam. It is some way out of the main central area, but that means the area is quiet and pleasant. As some earlier visitors have said, the hotel is small, but the website makes it clear when you book. It is also not an international chain hotel... More

Yeah, big up the Heemskerk, there this January, nice place, it is small, but they say that upfront, I stayed in the single for 3 days and the VSmall Double for 2, The staff are excellent, Norman was only there the 2nd time, but Nicholas helped with everything I needed. Good stuff, check the Cafe Lusthof for dinner, very near... More

it was clear that wI recently stayed at this hotel on a leisurely trip with friends for my birthday. I had very high expectations of this hotel after all the great reviews on trip advisor, however I was left bitterly dissappointed after the treatment myself and my friends recieved from the very nasty owner Normen, which was appualing. To begin... More

Well what to say about these 4 criminals? I had unfortunately in my hotel many trouble with this people. First they booked with a very cheap no refundable (that means the booking is payed immediately) and their card was fake, I waited politely around 10 days before they decided to pay the booking!! Second, they booked a triple room and... More

I stay quite often in Amsterdam for business but now I came over to visit friends. Staying in the lovely Heemskerk hotel I felt sorry to hear that Normen, the owner, is changing his place into appartments. Beginning of February I stayed in the nearby Zandbergen hotel, a cosy and pleasant 3 star hotel, clean rooms, excellent and helpful staf,... More
