We drove to Amsterdam for a quick weekend getaway and stayed here. We booked a Deluxe Twin room mainly because it had air conditioning, whereas the Standard Twin room does not. Well, the Air Conditioner did not work, luckily it is uncharacteristically cold right now so that didn't affect us too much. The Beds were comfortable, the room was very... More

12 of us stayed at the hotel for a stag do in Amsterdam at the end of April. As you can imagine trying to find somewhere willing to take on some many people and not cost a fortune was quite tricky at first but after a thorough search round of hotels I was struck by Hotel Remco’s pictures, price and... Three adults sharing a triple room in the hotel - spacious enough for the three of us not to feel crowded (though we did shift the furniture about a little to make it this way!!). Hotel convenient to both trams and buses - five minute walk took you to both. Shopping centre again just five minutes walk away. Hotel itself... More

We booked this hotel knowing it was on the outskirts of the city which was reflected in the price, however in hindsight we would have rather paid more for a hotel nearer the centre. Generally we like to be just outside the city with maybe a 10-15 walk or 5-10 minute bus journey, however this had a 10 minute walk... More

The hotel was available at a reasonable price.Dam Square was at 20 mins distance from the hotel.Though the interiors were not very amazing but it had all the facilities you would seek for in a hotel. The hotel has a bar inside. You could book the room with the Breakfast option though we didn't go for it.Quite decent for a stay in... Thanks to his location the hotel is great for travelers with cars who don't only wish to see Amsterdam, then also to visit other destinations. The parking is free and as far as I could see the nxt street already is part of the parking-fee zone. there is a busstation nearby and the tram is also only a ten minutes... More

Not the easiest hotel in the world to find. it is situated in a residential area. Best way to get there is to take Tram number 17 from central station and get off at Hoekenes. Cross over the bridge on your right (over a canal with some art work ). Walk through the park and hotel is on the left.... More

Possible the worst hotel I have even stayed in. It was not value for money and was very dirty. I stayed in room for short time and left quickly. We went to a 4star hotel a few kilometres away for only 19 euro more, well worth it. I can say that I have never been in a place like it!... More

Rooms quite large with adequate bathroom. Breakfast good with good choice. Hotel was 1/2hr into centre by tram, so some way out. Not the best of areas if one has a car. Saw several with windows smashed. I have been charged twice for the one bar bill so be watchfull.

The directions to the hotel were accurate but we ended up walking about 20 minutes from the bus stop we were directed to. Use the second set of directions. The hotel was in a questionable district with little or nothing around, get a good public transportation pass, we spent around 40 Euro just getting to and from the hotel to... More
