Great champagne! Spectacular views! Really nice bit bites! Whats not to like? O yes...it is CROWDED ... so you might have to wait a while. Hence, we got a great spot and loved it :) 23rd is on the top floor of the Okura hotel and offers a perfect ending after a night out. at least we thought it was.

Booked two rooms (standard and luxury room). Both were very nice, clean and spacious. Nice amenities and ensuite facilities. There's a pillow menu for those who want try something else for a change. Very helpfull and professional staff, always nice to have a valet parking service. We had lunch at the Serre restaurant, try the burger, the best since years!... More

For a weekend away we thought the 109 e / night charge on Hot Wire would compensate for the distance from the Dam. Not so. Friendly reception but we were surprised by the 35 e per person per day fee for the pool use and breakfast. Add in 35 e per day for parking. Malfunctioning thermostat resulted in room change... More

I recently spent 4 nights in Amsterdam. The city was a wonderful experience. Yes it does justify the title of Venice of the north. Friends made the arrangements for us, we had recently arrived in Europe from Australia, and at every turn from the warm greeting at he front door to restaurants to breakfast to the concierge and check in... My friend and I booked two deluxe double rooms for two nights in early May, and have never regretted a hotel choice so much. From the start we were both struck by what my friend described in the lift on the way up to our rooms as the "cold efficiency" of the check in. Little did we know then that... More

The Hotel Okura really is a lovely hotel-the rooms are fabulous, the food is fantastic and the staff are excellent....However-for a hotel that is pretty expensive to stay at, the fact that you have to pay for Wi-Fi, and for use of the leisure facilities, it's a major grumble on my part. It's like they are just trying to fleece... More

I visit Amsterdam frequently and my home away from home is the Okura Hotel. The staff are excellent from Guido the Doorman, Didi and Natasha in Serre and Marc, Anne-Belle and Edde in the Lobby Bar and 23rd Floor Lounge. They are always anticipating my needs and no request is to small for them to immediately devote what ever energy... More

Hotel Okura is a nice hotel, specially if you are traveling to Amsterdam for business meetings and conventions. However, as a simple tourist it is a great treat as well. We were in the executive floor, which for the same price it included the entry to swimming pool, gym and sauna (great spa, great saunas (unisex sauna and steam room,... More

One of the best hotels in amsterdam, nice rooms, spacious enough. Great location in the south part of Amsterdam, near the Albert Cuijp street market. But the best thing: it houses some of the best restaurants in The Netherlands: Yamazato and Ciel Bleu!! Also, the tepanyaki restaurant is very good and a little bit less expensive. Get there or be... Well I thought that the promise and the pictures do not really match the reality. In my opinion, hotel is dated, and even though I like minimalism, the rooms are ugly in a depressing stool color. The atmosphere is unwelcoming. The stuff is slow with fake smiles. "The client is always wrong" sign would be apropriate in the reception. Executive... More
