Spent four days here in August for my Dutch husband's birthday. It certainly lived up to the photographs shown on Trip Adviser, but somehow fell very short of the mark in every other respect. The pros: terrific location, helpful & competent staff, comfortable beds & baths, wonderful & extensive breakfast at a reasonable charge. We stayed for several days. First room was a small room in the front, which was noisy, particulary on Saturday night. The next few nights were in a room adjacent to the lovely back garden. This was terrifc. Only problem was keeping the air temperature adjusted. But everything else was 5 star quality, particularly the helpful staff. more
