My daughter and I have just returned from 3 nights at the amphora b&b. The accommodation is excellent, the welcome friendly and Greet 'went above'and beyond to make us feel extremely welcome. She even baked at birthday cake to celebrate my daughter's birthday whilst we were there. I would endorse all the other positive reviews, especially re location, activities and... More

A wonderful place to feel right at home in a new city. The accommodations are so pleasing you feel at home. There is room to move and relax an actually leave your bag unpacked. The neighborhood is amazing so convenient to 'local' hangouts and very close to the ' dam ' square where Amsterdam stretches out in all directions from... More

I have just returned from a lovely 2 night stay at Amphora B&& with my two daughters. Greet is so friendly and helpful. She recommended a lovely place to eat and the flat is so comfortable and homely. The mosaic in the bathroom and toilet is amazing! It is very well situated in a quiet area of Amsterdam within easy... We had a wonderful two nights here. Greet was so helpful and gave us great tips on things to do that are off the beaten track. The flat itself is beauutiful and full of lovely quirks, and has one of the most comfortable beds we have even slept in. We didn't realise we were looking for a 'home away from... More

My mum, sister and I stayed here to celebrate mum's 70th. We thought it was perfect - private but well catered, incredibly quiet but we walked everywhere, Great restaurants and bars close by. Plenty of room for 3 adults. Can't wait to go back with the kids. More

We very much enjoyed our stay in this apartment. It is in a good location and is very tastefully decorated. We loved the breakfast provisions. Our only grumble was having to check out at 10am on the Sunday. Most hotels have later check outs on Sundays now. More

The Amphora Bed and Breakfast has to be the best place to stay in Amsterdam (unless of course you like bland, corporate hotels) We spent 4 nights there for our wedding anniversary and it just wasn't long enough! It's a real home from home in a very interesting area, far enough away from the city centre to be peaceful and... More

We felt like being at home at Amphora Bed and Breakfast. Greet received us like a family member... There was plenty of food, with fresh new things every day. The appartment was just the right size for 2 persons, very clean, the bed was very comfortable. The mozaik in the shower was just amazing. Greet gave us some good suggestion... More

We are grateful to Amphora Bed and Breakfast and our hosts Greet and Nils who were just great. The apartment is small but so pleasant and functional that we were feeling home at once. The big upsides are: central location in buzzing Jordaan with canal view, lovely handmade mosaic in the bathroom making us happy each time we looked at... More
