Location, location, location. Great place to stay in the centre of the town. Staff was just ok. Rooms are small but adequate. Price is good value. Clean with a good breakfast, really liked the smoked fish. Easy walking distance to most everything, but took a taxi to Albert market. Love Amsterdam and great place to stay for a quick weekend... Great location, 5 minutes walk from train, tram and bus station. Within easy walking distance of old town. Warm cookie on arrival was very tasty and welcome. “Poor Value - Average Rooms - Stay elsewhere!”

“Wonderful Hotel”

We spent a couple nights here, and it exceeded all of our expectations. The location is great, next door to the Centraal Station, and walking distance to the old town district of Amsterdam. Our room was on te 5th floor, we had no train noise, and no street noise. Just a great hotel for a visit to Amsterdam!

I so regret you didn't mention during your stay, we could have shown you the kettle and complimentary coffee and tea services in the lower drawer of the desk. “Double Tree in heart of old Amsterdam”

Convenience. This hotel is a brief walk from central station, just across the canal from old Amsterdam, on the river, with great staff and nice rooms. Quiet. Sky Lounge has a fantastic view of the city and the bartender makes fantastic drinks. The executive lounge leaves a bit to be desired when compared to others around the world.
