Early March 2013 was unusually COLD but our 4 nights at the Eelhouse were great. Our room was warm and comfy whilst it was raining and snowing outside. This did not stop us exploring Jordaan and Amsterdam - we will be back when the sun is out. Great location- we walked almost everywhere. Vera and Jasper were delightful!

Great location for exploring the area, and out of the fray. Breakfast and stocked fridge were great touches. The only problem was going up the very narrow and windy stairs to several floor for our room. Our hostess was very accomodating and helped with the baggage. Thought it was a bit pricey for the time of year as well.
