Owner and employee were very helpful and nice. The bed was the best, i slept like a baby. Nice breakfast. Location is spot on, right next to the cathedral and the main square. Overall very nice for the price.

Maastricht is a wonderful city but not cheap. I found De Hofnar in a guide book and tried to reserve one of the lower priced rooms with shared bath. The hofnar was in a great location. It is good if you want the very basic accomodations. However, it was very noisy and it was not very friendly and inviting.

The B&B is perfectly located, very sweet, clean place; perfect size bedroom, although the toilet and shower were shared. The owner is incredibly nice and welcoming, likewise the other people who worked there. The breakfast was plentiful and the little dinning room has a beautiful view of a historic church. Maastricht is absolutely gorgeous!

I stayed over the weekend it was the best sleep I ever had out of town hotel. The rooms were very clean and cosy. I recommend staying here.

I was sleeping last week in De Hofnar. The location is very central, only 40 m from the Vrijthof square. The B&B is very clean and the staff very friendly. I will for sure come back very soon.
