“Great value convenience for traveller needing city centre lodging”

Had to go to Groningen to check out the university. Quick father & son trip. Hostel was two minutes walk from the basement carpark of a city centre supermarket. Fresh, clean interior with welcoming staff and nice decor. Also it is connected to a popular hotel so these things made me more comfortable than some stereotype image grubby dump the... More

“The best things come in small packages - like this hostel”

Stayed for 2 nights whilst visiting family, in the new block opened several days ago. Room for 4 people - 2 bunkbeds with ensuite. Although small, room is very clean, comfortably furnished, quiet. Reasonable sized lockers (1 each) per bed, airconditioning, flat screen tv. Able to check internet, lounge + bar downstairs. All in all, very good value for money... More

I recently came back from an excellent weekend in Groningen with a large mixed group of 14 people. This 'hostel' was booked because they had large rooms that slept 10, which was ideal. I wasn't that keen on the idea, but this place was just great - free internet access in reception, fresh coffee and beer/wine and an apparently good... More
