As many have stated here the Hotel Continental's location is ideally situated across the street from the main station. The front of the hotel is a bit drab - with the hotels old nameplate being stripped off the building. Beds were ok, although a tad bit hard, and the free breakfast was acceptable. first room I was given was VERY small (approx 15cm between bed and wall to squeeze through to other side of room), overlooking place de la Gare and opposite lift with very loud chimes every time someone called it so requested to change room.
