I just got back from a 4-night trip to Zermatt, staying at the Cima Garni. This is a great value. Owned by a a nice elderly Italian man who lives onsite, it's a homey B+B. I paid about $60/night in high-season ... can't beat that. Pro: Location: Awesome, awesome, awesome. It's less than 200m to the train station, 2 of... more

Stayed for a week with friends and family and found the hotel perfect for a no-frills sporting holiday. Rooms are slightly outdated, but this is not what i personally like to pay for in a ski holiday. Breakfast was good and skiboots were dry every morning. The location is very good for the Gornergrat + Sunnegga trains. (After a heavy... more

I concur with the last reviewer. I just talked with someone at the hotel (in German). He was rude and hung up on me. I certainly was in no way rude to him, so I expect this is his true personality and approach to business. more

My wife and I booked a room for a 3 night stay. When we finally arrived in Zermatt after a long day of driving and the train ride in, and contacted the hotel from the station to pick us up. Rudely the owner told me that our reservation was cancelled. He didn't give a reason just said that he tried... more

My family and I have been staying at this lovely little B & B winter and summer for 7 years and would not dream of staying elsewhere in Zermatt. Very helpful owner and his wife, comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast and its location in the village takes a lot of beating. Central, quiet and a lovely garden. Fantastic views of the... more

I stayed here after a terrible experience at a hostel in Zermatt and although I paid around 12 euros more per person(double room), it is worth every single cent of my money! The owner is a really nice old man who goes the extra mile to help you. He gave us this wonderful room which overlooks Matterhorn and even lends... more

Location of Cima Hotel is good, just 3 minutes from station, convenient for carrying buggage. Environment is comfortable and clean. The owner is really helpful and nice guy(fat man), he give me a room facing the Matterhorn with a balcony and I can see it at anytime (Sometime the mountain color changes, esp. at sunrise..). Good prices$ with good breakfast.... more

We totally enjoyed our stay at the Cima Garnis. We had a room on the 4th floor with wonderful views of the Matterhorn because there is a sports complex below which keeps the view clear. We had a 2 bedroom unit with bath that they gave us for 90 euros which was very clean and comfortable. There are no elevators... more

Small, but very well run B&B in Zermatt. Has balconies that overlook the Matterhorn, owner is very friendly and helpful, rooms are comfortable and very homey. Have stayed here twice, and plan to do it again, not the glitz and glitter of the bigger places, fits the area nicely..********** more
